On April 23rd, Madrid will host the 5th edition of the Cybersecurity & Data Innovation Summit 2024, bringing together experts and professionals from the cybersecurity industry. As in previous editions, B-FY is proud to be among the sponsors of this event, which will bring together more than 80 companies and 300 attendees including security directors, architects, IT directors, and data protection specialists, among others.
The conference agenda will address the real issues facing CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, and security professionals today, as the world becomes increasingly digital, providing more opportunities for cybercriminals. Furthermore, their tactics are evolving towards more sophisticated forms, supported by a growing range of tools that facilitate their activities.
According to Market Insights by Statista, it is estimated that the cybercrime industry will cost globally $13.82 trillion by 2028, registering an increase of 69.94% from 2023, when the figure stood at $8.25 trillion.
The aim of the meeting, organized by Urban and to be held at the Truss Madrid-WiZink Center, is to disseminate, present, discover, and evaluate industry solutions and trends. It will feature more than 60 speakers and sessions.
Roland Avellán, Head of Sales at B-FY, will participate as a speaker during the event to address the advantages of decentralized biometrics in the context of new European regulations and the growing cybersecurity landscape with threats posed by AI and quantum computing.
This in-person event, aimed at cybersecurity industry professionals, is an unparalleled opportunity to network with peers, learn from experts, and discover the latest security solutions.
The agenda also includes an expert panel, fireside chats, and interviews with attendees. Additionally, there will be workshops, networking sessions, and an exhibition area where the B-FY booth will be located, providing more information about our decentralized biometric solution and demonstrations of how it works.
B-FY is a technology integration partner offering its clients a decentralized biometric solution (IdaaS) to integrate within their own applications and provide a novel and secure service to their users.
It is an innovative solution that creates a universal identification system that does not require passwords or identification keys, but instead uses biometric data stored on users' mobile devices to identify each person. Biometric data or patterns are not collected or stored on any server and are always under the user's custody.
Therefore, it complies with all European data protection and security regulations, providing companies with the necessary confidence to implement new digital services and ensure the security of their users.
